The Jubilee class loco that was to continue the Stranraer Boat Express from Newcastle to Stanraer Harbour is stuggling for steam and the crew reckon it won't make it over the tough gradients to Stranraer.

With quick thinking by the station master here at Dumfries, he's managed to draft the pair of St Rollox loco's that were to be stabled overnight at Dumfries after coming down from Glasgow to takeover.

Luckily we're still on time so take a few minutes to load the passengers and get the engines ready for the tough slog to Stranraer.
